Cycle-2-Work Scheme
“Look out for a brand new bike in your pay packet”
Swissbike UK are now part of the Government backed Cycle-2-Work Scheme enabling employees to get the bike they want (plus accessories) at a substantially reduced price.
Using a bike is easy, cheap, green, independent, quiet, fast, convenient, healthy, and fun. Cycling to work ticks many, many boxes and the Government wants to encourage more people to cycle to work. That\'s why it created the Cycle to Work initiative for buying bikes at up to 50 per cent of the retail price.
There is much information available online on this subject, so we have purposely not gone into great detail here. However, in principle, you can get a brand new bike for almost half the normal retail price if your employer signs up to the scheme and makes it available to its employees.

We have also included for download the official PDF Employer and Employee leaflets from Cycling England, a government-backed organisation that promotes cycling in all forms (www.cyclingengland.co.uk). These can be printed out for use in your workplace.
Update - June 2009
There are now a number of facilitators of the Cycle-2-Work initiative, including major retail chains, such as Halfords. Generally speaking we can work with most facilitators by supplying our bikes to them on a trade basis so that they, in turn, can supply your bike through the scheme. If your employer has signed up with Cyclescheme Ltd. (www.cyclescheme.co.uk), then we can supply you directly.
To date we have indirectly supplied bikes for Cycle-2-Work customers via; Halfords, Evans Cycles, Wheelies Direct and OnYourBike. If your scheme is with someone else and you would like one of our bikes, please contact us to see how we can help.
