Have you been 'Twix'd'?
Swissbike UK recently supplied a custom branded bike for the Mars confectionery group. The ‘Twix’ bike was sprayed in metallic gold and branded with Twix promotional graphics. The Twix Tea Lady is 28-year-old Rebecca Wass from Norwich. Rebecca, a former Youth Worker with socially disadvantaged children, beat off fierce competition from hundreds of potential tea ladies – and blokes – around the country, all determined to prove they could complete one of the longest tea rounds in history and raise money for charity along the way.
Rebecca has managed the mammoth task of cycling 934 miles from Land's End to John O’Groats over 28 days while stopping off along her way to deliver Twix and tea to thirsty and hungry Brits.
Not only was Rebecca sharing a Twix and tea with the nation, she was also cycling for a good cause. All funds raised will go towards two charities, Heart’s ‘Have a Heart’ and Red Dragon’s ‘Help a South Wales Child’. Visit http://www.justgiving.com/TWIX-TEA-LADY/ to donate online. It's not too late!
